Glossary › Answer-First Content
What Is Answer-First Content?
Answer-first content opens with a direct answer to the buyer’s question, then names the product.
How it reads
The first lines answer the question the visitor brought: what this is, who it is for, or which option fits. The product name comes after that claim, as the thing that makes the answer true.
A heading should work as an answer on its own. “Uptime monitoring for agencies that resell it” is usable. “Our approach” is not.
Answer-first is not AEO
AEO is whether an engine can identify and check the brand at all. Product-led content weaves the product through the story. Answer-first is the order of the opening. It is not a citation switch.
A vs page can do all three. Open with who it is for. Keep the facts consistent. Show the product in the workflow.
Where it shows up
Owned BOFU pages, feature pages, and list blurbs. If a roundup sends someone to you, the first screen should finish the thought they arrived with. See entity SEO when the name itself is the problem.
