Deian Isac
Founder, goBOFU
I work the lists, answers, profiles, and BOFU pages buyers already use to choose.
Background
I founded goBOFU in 2026 after 15+ years in content marketing, the last 5 spent in SaaS. Buyers already decide in lists, answers, and profiles. Most companies still start with a blog. I map those surfaces, then the BOFU pages those mentions need.
Before goBOFU, I ran the entire marketing operation at Wayfront (formerly SPP.co) — a SaaS platform where agencies have sold $500M+ in productized services. I wrote 25+ articles, managed writers, and built the content engine from scratch. I also host the Agency Engine Room podcast, covering agency operations and systems.
That work taught me what most SaaS content gets wrong. Companies invest heavily in top-of-funnel awareness content — blog posts, guides, thought leadership — and almost nothing in the lists, answers, and pages that actually influence a purchase.
I also produce Before They Buy, a podcast about BOFU strategy for SaaS: where buyers decide, and the pages those mentions need.
Outside of goBOFU, I build capkiku, a macOS tool that OCRs a screen region or records a meeting, then saves Markdown on-device.

What I do at goBOFU
- Map and presence — find the lists, answers, and mentions that matter, then work the gaps
- Entity consistency — check the brand name, product facts, founder links, and profiles. Correct them where possible
- Owned BOFU pages — if they click through from a list and land on nothing, we write that page
